• 2. Research about web-based collaboration tools (Page 210 – Chapter 5- Table 5.5) and choose at least one collaboration tool from the table. 10 Points a. Open an account for your selected tool and explore the main utilities offered. b. Make a review on how important is each of the main utilities you have identified. c. Prepare a brief report on your findingGoogle Docs is the web-based editing program that allows users to create, share and edit documents through a secure networked system. There are also offshoots called Google Sheets and Google Slides that allow users to create spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. I really liked it because I uploaded an Excel document, and I and my partner could work ate the same time in the same spreadsheet. In other words our document became an online editing program.

• LinkedIn is a social networking site designed specifically for the business community. The goal of the site is to allow registered members to establish and document networks of people they know and trust professionally.

• A LinkedIn member’s profile page, which emphasizes employment history and education, has professional network news feeds and a limited number of customizable modules. Basic membership for LinkedIn is free. Network members are called “connections.” Unlike other free social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter, LinkedIn requires connections to have a pre-existing relationship.
