We have to ensure we take plenty of suitable magazines that are going to stand out to the audience and represent the artists/group. Images I will use I will use this image on the front cover of my magazine. Reasons being are because this represents my rap group ‘Kingz’. It portrays them as a rap group as they have their hoods up are covering their faces and the two members at the back of the image are pulling gun signs with their fingers. This represents the bad and violent image that is portrayed by most rappers as it shows the background that they have come from. This will make the audience want to indulge into the magazine to find out more about the rap group and why they are posed the way that they are. I will also use this image in my magazine in the Double Spread Page. This is because it shows all three members close together pulling identical hand signs. This could show the loyalty and respect that the three members have each other, to show that they are all come from the same background together and show the audience that they are a close-knitted rap group. For out magazine we had to take some images in order to use for our magazine. These images are of our main artist in the magazine. We have to ensure we take plenty of suitable magazines that are going to stand out to the audience and represent the artists/group.

Images I will use

I will use this image on the front cover of my magazine.

The serious looks on the faces of the members show the aggression and perhaps could be portrayed as anger, which represents the seriousness of the rap group and shows that they could have gotten these personality traits from the background as explained in the double spread page story.

Images I will not use

This is one of the images that I will not use in my music magazine. This is because I am using an identical image that is portrait for my front cover. Whereas this image in landscape, meaning that it would not fit onto my front page, and I cannot use the same image again in throughout my magazine.

This is another one of the images that I am not going to use in my music magazine. The three members are not stood close enough together so it does not show the unity within the group. The faces on two of the members are also not serious enough. The member on the right is smirking and the member on the left looks like they are trying not to laugh. This means that I cannot use this image in my music magazine because it would take away the seriousness of the group which I want to portray to the audience.
