1-All 12 candidates in this years London Mayoral Election harnessed the power of social media. Its now widely accepted as a crucial part of any political campaign strategy

2-Social media not only allows candidates to communicate directly with potential voters, but also for voters to communicate with each other about candidates and campaigns in real-time.

3-many people start sharing their stories on the #VentYourRent campaign, across the social media about what they get in return for the rent they pay. It didnt take long before even mayoral candidates got involved

Mentions of Sadiq Khan, on other hand, appear split between a number of hashtags, including #labourdoorstep and #teamKhan. Khans campaign may be organised on the doorstep, but appears that their social media campaign could do with greater co-ordination when it comes to pushing campaign messages out online.14

Discussion

Saad Kakouli - Ahmad Nazari - OEL067 Advanced English for Masters Studies - Autumn 2016-17

What is your first impression on this video??

Change London together

Is Sadiq Khan campaign that started one year before the election and he made a great short and intelligence impact on the audience.22

In conclusionSaad Kakouli - Ahmad Nazari - OEL067 Advanced English for Masters Studies - Autumn 2016-17Social media has changed the societies around the world.

In future the candidates, electors and the general public will all rely on social media to make a decisions

Sadiq Khan and his team used social media efficiently.

*Social media has created a worldwide change, In addition, it reoriented how people perceive any issue or event around the world, *and can change their decision because of the news spread around in social media platforms.*Of course we all know what is going on in the US after the U.S presidency election *where Trump ended up winning, and how the people are upset with the results *because of the negative social media impact on Trump.

*My last conclusion will be that Sadiq Khan and his team did a good job in using social media and it truly had a great impact on the results.
