ITS TIME FOR TO COME WITH UNITY.

Unity and Co-operation is necessary for our survival as also for our development. This requires the enlargement of our vision. We need a broad outlook of life. We must shun our petty selfishness and greed and jealousy . We must try to appreciate others and their achievements. We must try to help others and lift others and motivate others. We must try to become the role-models for others. Mere money, power and position will not fetch us a position to advise others. If only what we say what we do and if only mean what we say, we become leaders.

We need such leaders now. Moral excellence can alone make us leaders. The ssk sa-maj requires such leadership now to transform our samaj in to a solid part of the broader samaj of our country.

We earnestly appeal our or-ganizations to conduct leader-ship camps, training sessions and workshops emphasizing the moral excellence in all out dealings, and in our interper-sonal interactions.

We appeal to our vari-ous organizations to conduct workshops to integrate the skills that are required for the various vocations and jobs. We have to strive hard to en-hance the levels of general competency as part of the vo-cational training. The needs of the younger generations in empowering themselves to achieve success in the face of stiff competitions, should be-come our priority. If only we make concerted efforts in this

regard, we can do the best services to our community.

The leaders and the enthu-siastic organizers should de-vise the priorities of the social services besides the religious functions; we also have to think of doing services to our community. We have to asser-tain the problems that afflict our community and make our-selves conscious of the bog-ging issues. And that works like a magic. We must pre-pare the fertile ground for our younger generations to grow meaningfully and to the ex-pected standards. Bring about an expected social change .

We should not merely de-pend on will come to our aid or help, if we do not make an effort ourselves. If we have the determination to do some-thing , we are sure to find a way of doing will turn out to be easy to accomplish if we go on with determination. All difficul-ties or obstacles melt before a strong will of a man. What is the use of a brain if it is not put to use? Goddess Durga-mata will come to our help only when we make an effort.

So, let us start debating the vital issues and problems afflicting our community today on the social and educational planes. We appeal to the con-noisseurs of our samaj to air their views and remedies. We invite your opinions, respons-es.

Jai Shri Sahasrarjun Maharaj.

Indulgent report summary as under.

In 1916, the above firm has registered its name in property register card, having the history of hundreds of years. According to the Bombay public trust act under Sec 386 ( Dharwad) in 1953 it was a registered panchayati.

Since register this firm has been making religious, culture and educational objectives as its timeline, hence, the samaj bandhus and the public show love towards the firm.

To equilibrate the afflict expenses made on religious, cultural and public programmes and expenditure on temple before 1950 the panch trust committee built commercial outlets and go down and gave for rent. The open area for bus stop and wood joist was also given for rent, by this they made a way of income for the firm.

They also forecasted to serve in the educational field and give education for the poor children’s in samaj. Shri durgadevi educational committee was hired as subcommittee of panch trust. The panch

trust gave site and economic help and started to build shikshana Kendra in the year 1965l

In 1965 Early childhood education (Shishu Vihar) and in 1967 – 68 to give education to the races and other race poor children’s. To start the kannada medium secondary school Hon director got approval from public education department Mysore, Bangalore. This firm kept a toddler step i the field of education by starting 8th Std.

Further for the students studying in kannada medium secondary school ( 8,9 and 10th std.) each 2 section, 2 big and 4 small, tile and metal sheet shed, total 6 classrooms were facilitated. And built a school office on behalf of panch trust. The panch trust committee made itself busy I rendering the service for education.

In the year 1977 on behalf of department of education, Govt of Karnataka, they got the approval for Shri durgadevi English medium primary school, 1st to 7th std classes were started step by step. The construction of these classes are made in “A” block of panch trust layout.

Further in 1984 after getting approval for Shri durgadevi English medium secondary school in “B” block of panch trust layout as per necessity step by step classes are built by clearing the go down there on behalf of panch trust.

Decision of the construction of additional classes and decision of the construction of multipurpose kalian mantap in the property of panch trust, which is a empty lying space, means behind the maruti temple. On 3-2-1982 in the meeting of panch trust working mandal previous trustees accepted the decision.

The construction about kalian mantap or multipurpose bhavan, the previous period trustee in their several meeting of panch trust,

means on 05-07-1981 in meeting topic No:2 and on 16-06-1982 in meeting topic No:4/C on 29-01-1984 in meeting topic No:7 & on 05-11-1987 in meeting topic No:6 and on 31-01-1988 in meeting topic No:4 in all these meetings decision was taken. As well as on 05-11-1987 in the meeting about the map of kalian mantap and approximate expense was discussed.

In this delegated area, the decision for the construction of kalian mantap was accepted by all the trustees. Due to the death of some elderly trustees who accepted the construction of kalian mantap and the previous trustees, concentrated towards the construction of necessary classrooms. Hence the plan of the construction of kalian mantap of elderly trustees was neutralised. Says present trustees in their support.

Observing all the matters the present trustees of the panch trust say that, as per the decision and allure of previous trustees, approval should be taken by Hubballi-Dharwad Corporation for the construction of Shri durgadevi bhavan with subject to the act and give a start for the construction.

By the construction of Shri durgadevi bhavan the entity samaj bandhus and devotees religious and several worshiping ceremonies, purana paravachana, function, mahila mandals and cultural function, elderly citizen functions, society development function, educational trainings for unemployed, health and yoga camps and school children’s cultural and annual functions can be held, including this bhavan is very useful for several functions of samaj bandhus at reasonable cost. The report says use of bhavan is for many purposes.

The designated area for the construction of shri durgadevi bhavan was previously rented to wood foist. Then in 1978 for the kalian mantap construction purpose the foist area was made vacant in later years, it is addressed that only in 2 to 3 months in that place school children sports activities were taking place.

In 1995, after the construction of all the classrooms necessary for school, in 2000-01 “concrete ground” was guilt in the remaining part of the ground. In this designated area of shri durgadevi bhavan, no sport activities have taken place of the school children over the past 10 to 15 years. About this a written statement by the principals of kannada and English medium schools is given in the report.

The “layout” of the panch trust property by Indian development survey has been made by panch trust. The total area or location extension of panch trust is 4966-00 sq meters in this school buildings, office and including auditorium hall, 1339.06 Sq meters site is given for schools, 1000.25 Sq meter site for cement concrete constructed ground and

169.14 Sq Meters area is left for the school children to come. In this manner in the report it is applied in the layout map.

In the total 4966.00 Sq Meters area of panch trust about 2508.45 Sq Meters of the area is kept reserved for the use of the schools. In addition, one old godown (then old class room) 85.20 Sq Meters and 3 dining halls about 108.7 Sq Meters the old building was demolished including cement ground which is by the side of the building means total 293.90 (85.2 + 208.70 ) Sq Meters area is given as additional play ground for children’s sports activities. The panch trust committee says that in the total 4966.00 Sq Meters property area of panch trust, for education totally about 2802.35 Sq Meters area is given for school building and play ground. The panch trust committee asserts in its report that more than 56.43 % of its area is given to school.

The dwelling unit, panch trust members should express their support for the construction of the indulgent designation Shri durgadevi bhavan and carry out legal action for those who oppose it and sign on 326 acts, on 08-12-2015 submission of the appeal to panch trust is also referred in the report.

The waist fallen area is of no use for the school children, the construction of indulgent Shri durgadevi bhavan will not create any disturbance for the school children and everywhere in writing, a false maligning is spread that playground is not enough for 2500 school children of both the schools, but this fact is purely wrong says trustees committee and cleared that, in both the schools, school children record number 1613 (students in English medium nursery and K.G 200 + students in Std 1st to Std 10th 1116 + students in kannada medium secondary school from Std 8 to Std 10th 296).

In addition for the benefit of both the schools, renovation of 1 old godown, 1 well-equipped auditorium (Shri durgadevi hall) will be constructed, there about more than 400 students can sit. Inspite of all the facilities given by panch trust to the education field unnecessarily on this firm accused act is being done, which the firm reprobate. The panch trust committee says construction of Shri durgadevi bhavan is not being done in school playground; instead it will be built in its own area of panch trust. For the construction of the new bhavan 3 old godowns will be demolished, the trust gives hope in its written form, in the report to construct additional ground for school children. A report is submitted to the field education officer Hubballi city zone in written form that construction of bhavan would not disturb the school children activities; instead the bhavan is useful for school children to perform several activities and school meetings, ceremonies in a disciplined manner.

SUNIL M. BEVINAKATTI MYSORE CORPORATION CORPORATOR HEART SHOWED MERCY ON THE CONDITION OF MENTALLY ILL

Mysore - Today so many people are mentally ill and wander on road sides. Their distress won’t be understood by those who are all right, but in this case Mysore Corporation Corporator Shri. Suneel M. Bevinakatti stands different. He has shown humanity by admitting a mentally ill person to the hospital and made him get treatment.

V i d ya r a n ya p u r a m Dharmasingh colony resident, Shri. Venkatesh is mentally ill. Since 5 years he is unable to walk and went clamber beside the road and ate the remnants of food thrown in the trash bin and channelized his life. From 15 days he went clamber though vidyaranyapuram coverage No. 10 swirling theatre, 4th main road andani circle, without knowledge of stool and urine. A bad smell was coming whenever he went.

People around were tired of this and everyday called and informed corporation corpotator Shri. Suneel M. Bevinakatti about the matter.

On Monday, Shri. Suneel M. Bevinakatti decided to admit Shri. Venkatesh in rehabilitation centre at Jyoti nagar and took him in the corporation vehicle. At that time seeing Shri. Venkatesh’s un cleanliness, messy clothes and clambering they said, they to do their own work and rejected to get him admitted and sent him back. At last Suneel with his friends, lawyer S.P. Manjunath and congress leader R.D.Vishwanath took him to the vidyaranyapuram cemetery and got his hair removed and 4 people gave him bath after every 2 hours continuously and made him so clean that, people wouldn’t recognize he was the same mentally

ill Venkatesh. Then after, straight away, took him to the K.R.Hospital in auto rickshaw and met Chandrashekar, the RMO of the Hospital and explained the matter. Responding to this he recommended to meet Dr. Narendrakumar of psychiatric therapy department. Then suneel met Dr. Narendrakumar and explained the matter. Dr. Narendrakumar completely inspected Venkatesh and promised that he will be completely healed. If he is given two months treatment. Suneel informed “ SSK TIMES” that right now Venkatesh is admitted to hospital and treatment is being given to him.

Suneel shows humanity by saying that, his treatment and medicinal expense will be completely fulfilled by him.

Hubballi - It is a pleasant surprise to read in SSK Times monthly magazine that centenary celebrations were held in many Grama-sabhas in Maharashtra namely, Amaravati, Ichalkarnji, Nanded, Bhiwandi and Thane etc,. It is said that the first samaj convention was held in Amaravati in 1916 with the efforts of the then social workers of our samaj like Shri.Govindasa Bakale, Shri. Ambasa Dhanej and Shri. Kishorsa Bhandri in those days of poor communication which itself was a big achievement. I understand that many elders of our samaj of this area had also attended the convention. In Karnataka stalworlds like Shri. Madhusa Meharwade, Shri. Ramchandrasa Khode & Shri. Harisa L, Khode of Bangalore, Shri. Katwe, Shri. R.M. Meharwade, Shri. N.T. Jituri and others are pioneers and have contributed their might for the samaj.

First convention at Amaravati is the 1st documented step towards samaj activity and thoughts for the welfare of the samaj and to bring unity. Since our samaj bandhus settled in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andrapradesh and this convention is a land mark in the samaj activities. It is welcome gesture that Maharashtra provincial committee of ABSSK has decided to observe 2016 as a centenary year and accordingly many places in Maharashtra have started celebrating centenary celebrations and have planned various activities for the welfare of the samaj throughout the year.

It is rather unfair that such an important landmark in the history is not being recognized in Karnataka. We should forget our regional differences and should give proper cognition to this important event of samaj. The provincial Karnataka headquarter of ABSSK should give direction to all the grama-sabhas to organize A be lifting functions to commemorate this big event of the samaj.

This the opportune time for our samaj settled in Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andrapradesh etc,. To bring the unity and organize such activities which will uplift our samaj and bring them nearer to each other. We should organize more educational activities like Schools and colleges, creating training centres for youth and home industries, so that samaj will become self sufficient.

I once again appeal to central ABSSK to give direction to all the grama-sabhas to celebrate this as centenary year.

– Dr. K.H.Jituri. Jituri Hospital Hosur, Hubballi.

LET US WORK TOGETHER FOR THE UPLIFT-MENT OF OUR SAMAJ - DR. K.H. JITURI

Venkatesh Before treatment. Venkatesh After treatment.
