Abstract This paper proposed a model of e-governance using SNS for democratic Bangladesh Perspective.

Interaction between government and citizens through government driven SNS can improve democratic environment in Bangladesh.

E-Governance E-governance enables citizens to access government services and information through the use of internet or mobile phones.

It is the use of modern information and technologies such as internet, local area networks and mobile phones by governments to improve effectiveness, efficiency for service delivery and to promote democracy.

Social Network A social network is a social structure made up of a set of social actor (individuals or organizations) and a set of dyadic ties between these actor.

Facebook, Google+, Twitter and so on.

Proposed Model E-governance consists of three major components 1. G2G (Government to Government) 2. G2C (Government to Citizen) 3. G2B (Government to Business)

Proposed model mainly focused on G2C.

Proposed Model Proposed SNS is like Facebook. As Facebook is popular and easy to operate for user.

Eligible citizens can own a profile.

Every ministry, governmental institution and political parties will have page like Facebook fan pages.

Special profile for public representatives.

Pages Governmental Institution will post about their activity. They will post about their funding, resuorces and ongoing projects. So, people can see them and can opine in that post through their profile.

Every registered political party will share their messages through their pages. They can posts about their movements, political agenda and their views.

Profiles Every eligible citizen will get a profile and they can opine on the posts provided by the pages. There they can discuss about that issue.

Public representatives will have special profile. There he/she will provide the citizens him/her election menifest and electoral affidavit. People can know public representatives source of income, educational backgorund and participation of social works from their profile.

Analysis Almost 3 million people of Bangladesh are using Facebook.

Most of them are students.

Analysis Survey :

1. All of the information about development of Bangladesh that government is working on which is your right to know, if you get that in SNS will it be helpful for you? Yes or No?

2. Discussion, suggestions, making decisions on Government works is your rights as a citizen of democratic country. For this reason if government take step to develop any SNS then do you want to connect with that? Yes or No?

3. People will more eager to discuss on national issues in Government SNS than existing SNS like Facebook or Twitter. Yes or No?
