DESCRIPTION
Bloggers and brands can work together for mutual profit, and my role as both a blogger and a PR representative has allowed me to experience both sides. I blog for Crave Local, Eat Local Orlando, and Sunshine State Shopping and I teach social media at UCF. I also manage blogger outreach for several brands, who I’ve brought to our conference today. Barnie’s Coffee, Tijuana Flats, Peterbrooke, Gigi’s. Today I will share with you the things that brands want from you when working together, and how to be every brand's favorite blogger that gets invited to all of the best events. Beyond attending free events, you want to make money from brand relationships. I'll explain the kinds of things PR people are looking for when considering blogger sponsorships and ads. I'll share stories of blogger partnerships I've worked on, along with some best practices. I’m going to let you in on the many ways that brands can help even a small, new blog to increase reach and impact. I’ll share some stories of the questions I get asked by brands when I pitch a blogger to them will help you put together an impressive presentation from the start, and avoid pitfalls that can sour relationships.
