Adam Levine
Early Life
Adam Noah Levine was born on March 18, 1979 in Los Angeles, California to Patsy and Fred
Levine. He has a brother, Michael and a sister, Julia.
When he was six, he shot the winning basket at his local YMCA basketball championship.
As a teenager Adam was diagnosed with ADHD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. In 2011,
he launched an educational campaign to raise awareness of ADHD.
The band was made up of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, and Ryan Dusick. As high school seniors, in 1997, the band released their first album entitled The Fourth World. The album had little success and disappointed with the results, the band split up. Adam and Jesse left Los Angeles for New York to attend college. There they were introduced to hip hop and R&B.

After dropping out of college the band reunited and added James Valentine. They
renamed the band Maroon 5 and added their new found musical influences into their
music.Adam wrote the lyrics to Maroon 5’s debut
album, “Songs About Jane”. The album was a huge hit.
. In February 2010, Adam was among approximately 80 musicians who sang
in the charity-single remake of “We are the World” called “We are the World 25
for Haiti”.
Adam has been featured in many songs with many different artists.
He is currently a judge on the hit TV series The Voice.

Personal Life
Adam has Jewish ancestry. He considers himself Jewish although he chose not to have a Bar Mitzvah as a child.Since 2010 Adam Levine has been dating Anne Vvalitsyna, a Russian Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated model. Adam is an outspoken supporter of LGBT rights.–supported the ‘It Gets Better Project’.
