The road to a Certificate of Liability InsuranceA third party requests proof of coverageHave a General Liability policy in place or get one Verify how the holder section of the certificate should read from the third partyReview any contractual items related to insurance to be sure your policy complies Identify if hold harmless language is presentConfirm the third party wants to be named as an Additional InsuredDo you need to add the Additional Insured to your policy? If so, make sure it gets doneHave the Certificate of Liability Insurance processed and sent to the third party
