What is Carpet Patching?
Carpet patching is both an art and a science. It is associated with damaged or worn sections of carpet, be it, stains, burns or a tear.
People Usually Do Carpet Patching
When
Their dog or cat has scratched a part of the carpet
They have removed the wall between their two rooms
Some wine gets dripped on their flooring material
A hot iron, hot hair straightener or a cigarette has accidentally fallen on the carpet
Process of
Carpet Patching
Spare or leftover carpet is used for doing the carpet patching job. If it’s not available, a small piece is cut from under the staircase, wardrobe or similar other hidden place to perfectly fit the damaged area
The damaged area is cut and replaced with the new piece of carpet.

There are 2 different methods that can be used while carpet patching
>Glued >Heat seamed
If the carpet is faded and the carpet used to do the patch is unfaded the carpet patches will be visible. The colour and fabric used should thus match with the area where it needs to be patched.
