Hobbies I enjoy music and play guitar in a semi-professional band. I have been involved in writing lyrics and music, and, more recently, have written several short stories and have recently finished a novel. I have an interest in history and am an expert on Southampton’s links to the 18th Century Slave Trade, which has resulted in several media appearances. I also try to go to the gym at least three times a week. I am a second-degree practitioner of Reiki. I enjoy travelling, meeting new people and learning about other cultures, and dedicated 12 months from October 2003 to October 2004 to travelling and experiencing life in as many different countries as possible. I enjoy trying new adventures and adrenaline sports, and have managed to throw myself out of a plane, hike in the Himalayas, scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef, fly a light aircraft and swim with Great White Sharks.
