VISIBILITY

Page 4: Important workwear tips

If your company works in Orange, Yellow or Red Hi-Visibility colors, chances are that you already do think about safety, thank you for that.

Do you use a standard product that is made in great volumes, always on stock and is doing exactly what it is supposed to do?

Or do your company spend extra time, effort and energy on the details in order for you to support and be your brand, by wearing bespoke garments? We call this customization and it can be a great way to use visibility to show off your brand.

Yes No

Do you use EN20471 certified Hi-Visibility clothing today, and do you think it makes

a difference for the safety?

Standard productsFor some companies, the regular product, which is easily found and purchased, is the perfect match. Is your company like that, then you would be looking for products like for example the EVOSAFE and EVOLITE collections.

Tip:A EN20471 Class 3 is the best ISO norm you can get within the regulations. The class depends of the level of HV fabric and reflexes which means higher class = better safety

Customization If your company is dedicated to stand out from the crowd and give the personal a feeling of being different, and empowered, then a bespoke workwear solution would probably work nicely for you.

Obviously the brand value is much higher when you wear your company’s brand on the reflexes and not just as an embroidery. You even get to decide where the different pockets should be placed and if you need a contrast color in red instead of the regular blue.

Tip:Things like volumes, quality and certifications are important details when you want great workwear made specifically for your company

PROPER MATERIALS

Page 8: Important workwear tips

Always look for good materials in workwear. Just like the Vikings used the right materials to create their tools and weapons, we use the right materials for our workwear.

Page 9: Important workwear tips

No chain is stronger than the weakest link. Fantastic fabrics, great buttons and zippers and high visible and washable reflexes, is no good without the right seams. But seams are partly man made and if they need to be made good, people need proper conditions to work in.

We use good working conditions as a tool for our workers to do their best. Want to see more about our CSR?

Sewing is an artSewing can be learned. Paying attention to the details is a crucial thing. We don’t just hire the best, we educate all our workers to be the best.

Even though we don’t always recognize it, Sewing is hard work and doing it right first time is difficult.

Tip:If you see uneven sewing lines various places in multiple Cargo pants from the same supplier, you should consider going for an alternative. Your colleagues deserves the best, right?

Page 11: Important workwear tips

Good MaterialsWe use a variety of materials, some are very famous and some are unknown yet widely used. You can’t just rely on that famous material suppliers are the best, but some of them we would classify as high quality and you are pretty safe with products containing these materials:

Gore-Tex, VTX, F120, Cordura, 3M and YKK

Tip:Always get more information from you supplier on ex. Fabric tear strength, breathability, water column and abrasion

COMFORT

Page 13: Important workwear tips

Nothing is more annoying than a few hours left of work while already being soaked because of poor quality of the workwear. The comfort is important, still one of the most difficult things to manage for large companies, here’s why..

Page 14: Important workwear tips

Everyone is differentComfort is different to all of us, and two men who are same height and look similar size can use two different sizes. If one has longer arms than his size allows, what can you do to get him in comfortable workwear?

Our flexible production can manufacture special jackets after a measurement chart so that your team is good to go no matter how high they are.

Tip:You always need to ask about these “odd sizes” and how your supplier can help with these kinds of problems, it might be one of the top players in your company who needs a jacket with special measurements

Look at the outside conditionsHow are the outside conditions of your working environment? Is it raining a lot? Does the weather shift during the day? Are people part inside and part outside or working the whole day outside? Questions like these can help you find the workwear that can bring the most comfort to your team.

Tip:Go chat with some of your colleagues who are very aware of what they like/don’t like about their workwear. That will give you an idea of the level of comfort and what to look for

Page 16: Important workwear tips

Put it to the testWhen you have found the most fantastic workwear possible, you need to put it to the test. Choose someone who is not easy satisfied and whom you know can put words on his/her feelings about the workwear. We encourage our customers to test the clothing, we like it that way because it let’s you see for yourself and your team, that the products are great.

SUMMARY

Page 18: Important workwear tips

VisibilityBoth Hi-vis fabric and reflex are important for visibility. A EN20471 class 3 is recommended if your colleagues work outside. Another way to be visible is to wear special workwear that looks smart but is not widely used.

Proper materialsMaterials and sewing goes hand in hand. The VTX fabrics which we use in a variety of products when they need breathability and high water column is fantastic. Other awesome brands are Gore-Tex, Cordura, 3M and YKK.

ComfortFor the people who use Workwear during the day, it’s crucial that it’s comfortable. Both that they are kept dry, that they can work in a comfortable body temperature and that they are protected against the weather, sometimes this means special manufactured products.

Tip:It’s important to note that no matter how hard you try, it’s not possible to make everybody happy.
