The Joseph B. Fay Company (Fay) was founded in 1947 and specializes in heavy civil construction, including demolition, earthwork, marine, piling and foundations, roadway, structures, and utility projects.

i+iconSOUTHEAST is a diverse infrastructure contractor specializing in pile driving services, marine construction, bridges, and related structures.

i+iconENERGY is led and staffed by personnel with demonstrated past success in delivery of power generation and industrial projects and is supported by Fay’s civil competencies.

SR 2085 Birmingham Bridge Preservation

Pittsburgh, PA

The bridge connects East Carson Street on the South Side with Fifth and Forbes Avenues going to Uptown, Oakland, and the Hill District. Fay was contracted to perform various construction improvements to the structure.

US 219 New Highway Construction

Somerset County, PA

Development of a new 11 mile four lane limited access highway involving over 12 million CY of excavation and the construction of four box culverts and two bridges.

MLK Expressway Extension

Portsmouth, VA

Construction of a new 3,850 lf bridge, including four approach ramps. This project utilizes 18” Square Pre-stressed at grade concrete pile foundations the largest being 133 feet long and 44,950 pounds.

Hyatt House and Hyatt Place

Virginia Beach, VA

Installation of 400 precast concrete piles for the foundations of the new Hyatt House and Hyatt Place Hotels in Virginia Beach. These piles were installed on a tight schedule to finish prior to a city noise ordinance.
