Who is ID Watchdog? ID Watchdog is a company that most people might shrug off, but they are de"nitely a force to be reckoned with. They are tremendously growing as a company year over year and their product is a big competitor to other big-named companies in the identity theft industry. ID Watchdog is one of a few companies that is publicly traded and has patents under their belt. They also have been recognized by the Consumer Federation of America. One minor fallback ID Watchdog might run into is the fact that they are a smaller brand. Consumers tend to trust bigger names that you see all the time, so companies like LifeLock and IdentityGuard have more leverage in that sense than ID Watchdog does. ID Watchdog can work on putting themselves “out there” a little more so people can become familiar with their name/brand. Customer Complaint Summary: Although most of the ID Watchdog customers were happy with their service, one complaint that was mentioned had to do with their customer representatives.. They said reps were not courteous, hospitable and willing to help what the customer wanted.

ID  Watchdog  is  missing  a  couple  things  that  the  BestIDThe6Companys.com  team  takes  into  considera<on  when  ranking  companies.    First,  ID  Watchdog  doesn’t  include  any  assistance  in  legal  forms  of  iden<ty  protec<on.    They  also  are  missing  a  Cer<fied  Informa<on  Systems  Security  Professional  cer<fica<on,  which  we  find  as  very  valuable  in  a  company/individual.    Another  major  missing  service  is  the  op<on  to  offer  an  an<virus  subscrip<on  which  is  simply  another  form  of  protec<on  for  the  consumer.        Some  people  look  for  plans  with  credit  scores  and  free  trial  periods  when  signing  up  with  an  iden<ty  the6  protec<on  company,  but  unfortunately  ID  Watchdog  doesn’t  offer  either  of  these.
