The Expat Fair is the first and the only event of its kind in Bucharest — the first large-scale meeting point for internationals and services tailored to their needs.
The aim of this event is to offer a full day of information and inspiration for expats & internationals living in Bucharest, to welcome and help them Feel at Home in Romania together with our trusted partners, workshops and networking — all under the same roof.
The event answers an increasing need for meet and greet opportunities for the expat community.
Over 200 visitors expected, including representatives of the City Compass network — C-level readers, guest writers, entrepreneurs, diplomatic representatives in Romania, expat group members and many more.
The event is supported and endorsed by several partner embassies, international schools, and chambers of commerce due to its relevance in their communities.
Similar events in other European cities such as Munich, Rotterdam, Zurich, and Copenhagen have attracted over 4,000 visitors.

THE ONE-STOP SHOP FOR THE INTERNATIONALS LIVING IN BUCHAREST.
FAIR Our partner companies will have stands where they present their services, special offers and get to know face to face their target.
WORKSHOPS Our partners will share their knowledge through a comprehensive range of workshops on topics of interest for expats. Topics include housing, employment, banking, tax, schooling and many more.
NETWORKING We will offer both the participants and the partners the chance to attend several networking sessions throughout the agenda and to meet people with common interests.

This one-of-a-kind fair will take place at The Ark — a historical building in the former neighborhood of Uranus, close to the House of People and next to the old flower market. The location, built in 1898 and practically rebuilt in 2008, is a highly versatile event venue displaying a spectacular clash between old & modern architecture. It has simple and clean lines, perfect for a functional fair configuration. There will be plenty of space to create different areas of interest for every participant: the fair itself, a workshop area, a networking area, a food corner, sitting area, art displays, a “kids’ corner” and many more.
