Discounts For Veterans On Memorial Day

The retail industry and some other organizations are setting a good example for other business enterprises by offering discounts for veterans and active military members on Memorial Day weekend 2014.

Food Industry

To promote National Military Appreciation Month restaurants at Boston Market are offering 10% off on billing amount for the whole May month for veterans and military members. Hooters, Red Robin and Shoney’s will offer discounts on the Memorial Day to these people.

Amusement Parks

A lot of people are expected at Amusement Parks in different parts of the USA. A number of parks that includes California’s Great America, King’s Dominion, LEGOLAND California, SeaWorld Parks are honouring military personnel and veterans by offering them either free admission or huge discounts.

Retail

Like the above market segments, General Motors, Home Depot, Lowe’s and some others are offering discounts on Memorial Day weekend 2014 to the people who are serving or served in the military services.

Museums

Blue Star Museums is keeping its gates open at its art centres, museums and exhibits throughout the United States for military personnel past and present from Memorial Day (May 26) to Labour Day (September 1).

National Parks

National Parks are also giving free annual pass to military personnel and their dependents on the occasion. It is a great gesture by these organizations.
