Avast! offers full-featured protection for their customers in each of
their products. Features are tiered, so upgrading simply brings more
features to the users, rather than having to pick-and-choose those
features which may be sacrificed.
One can purchase products for multiple years for additional savings
and Avast! allows users to pay for the devices which they want to
include in the protection. Avast! offers a 30-Day money back

Avast! offers their software free of charge to accredited schools,
which can save these institutions thousands of dollars annually.
The Bad
Avast! offers full protection from viruses and malware, as well as
phishing, and bill-pay protection. They do not offer social media
protection as does some of their competitors.
Avast! doesn’t offer the same level of mobile protection for iOS users as
Android and features for iOS are limited.
Avast! does not have a good rating with the Better Business Bureau,
mostly due to the fact that they did not respond to several complaints
filed with the BBB.
Pricing for multiple machines can get pricey, which is not unlike the
competition.
Avast! is a solid company with an extensive track record in providing antivirus protection. Their
products are full-featured and have been proven by independent testing to be effective in
detecting and treating threats.

their competitors.

Avast! offers a full suite of products (with iOS noticeably absent) for virus and
malware protection, anti-phishing, mobile and tablet monitoring and
protection as well as for PC tune-ups.
The pricing structures allow users to purchase exactly that which they need and
gives them flexibility in purchasing multiple years’ protection.
In spite of a poor BBB grade for not responding to complaints which were
registered with the BBB, there is much which is positive to consider Avast! as a
viable option for antivirus software needs.
