Habit 1Be Proactive
By: Chayanin, Priyapa
Understand the difference between reactivity and proactivity.
● reactivity is the state or power of being reactive or the degree to which a thing is reactive.
● proactivity is creating or controlling a situation by causing something to happen rather than responding to it after it has happened.
Recognize how your choices determine your results.
As the environment around you changes, you can either attribute success and failure to things you have control over, or to forces outside your influence.
Gain skills to make proactive choices.
● Take Back Control of Time
● Look at Processes
● Understand and Manage Risk
● Focus on Morale
● Build in Continuous Improvement
