DESCRIPTION

Have you seen a flock of birds fly? How do they fly? They fly in a formation right? But why do they fly like that? A bird in a flock flies in the front showing directions to the skein and thereby making it easier for the flock that follows it by reducing the turbulence of the journey. And that is what we believe in as well. Yes, we believe in empowering people with skills that will make them what they want to be. Project Slipstream is a composition of Transformation programs which will help individuals making winning a habit from an extra-ordinary incident by working on all the three levels. The beauty of slipstream is that the leader provides the leadership, direction and also the “slipstream”. And this makes the flight easier for the laggards by cutting down on the resistance and thereby making the whole journey of life towards success a more harmonious, faster and a safer one for the whole skein. In Slipstream, you start off as a laggard and later based on your interest and ability to cope up with the training you will move up the ladder to become a skein and a leader. Laggards have the leisure of learning under the wings of Alagiri.

The Story Of Simba

Page 2: The Story of a Seagull

A lion prince, Simba was born in

the great prairie of Africa, the land

of the pride where lion rules over

the other animals as king.

Simba was named as the next king

of Pride by Rafiki, the Godfather of

the Clan. Birth of Simba was a big

celebration in the Jungle; all the

animals came to pay to tribute the

next King of the pride lands for

they had belief that he would be

the savior of the clan.

Simba was born…

Simba grew up and there came the time, when Simba had to take the mantle of being the king of the

“pride land” but most of the times the heir thrones usually run into the lazy forest to escape the

responsibility of being the king, for being the king of the clan were never an easy job.

Even Simba had the same options, being the responsible king or running away into the lazy forest!

Simba had no options but to think about what he has to do!

The roads of life…

“With great powers come great responsibility” and similarly, being the king of the great prairie is not a

simple ask. The king not only has to find food for his clan before he finds food for himself. He shouldn’t

just protect himself but also his clan. He not only has to decide for himself but also for his clan.

In the lazy forest, the life is very simple. All you have to do is find food for yourself and for the rest of the

day you can leisurely enjoy by bragging about bravery and strengths. Every day is just the same, wake up,

find food, and talk to fellow companions who have shunned the responsibility and then off to sleep. Life is

easy, no effort is required as in this part of the world there is no ambition and inspiration.

The journey of being a King…

Page 5: The Story of a Seagull

At end of his contemplation, Simba decided to rule the Pride.

Simba fought wars to save the elephants; Simba annexed the empire for the welfare of his people and not just that

the pride land was known for its Justice during the regime of Simba. People praised Simba for the all the goodness

they achieved during his period.

And later it turned to be the golden age of the whole pride land!

The decision!

Page 6: The Story of a Seagull

Think about it? Why did Simba went on to rule the land while he can relax in the lazy forests?

Simba wanted to do what he likes to do, though it might be tough. Simba knows for fact, that he has all

the skills to be the ruler and it just needs some extra effort to be a king. Simba was born as a Lion which

makes him an easy favorite to be the king while there are so many who are born as different species and

still try hard to be the king and this made him think twice of going to the lazy forest!

And we are no different from Simba. We can do things which we want to do; all that it needs is the

conviction to do. Almost 80% end up leading a life which they are not interested in because of the lack of

conviction. And 18% of the people who are convinced of what they want to do, fail because of the lack

skills and only a 2% succeed in this endeavor of doing what they want.

And this 2% of the people include everyone from Sachin Tendulkar to Rajnikanth to Abdul Kalam.

Everyone wishes to be a part of this elite group but only 2% make it at the end.

What it took to be what he is now…

Page 7: The Story of a Seagull

How do these 2% of people become what they are.

• They are mindful and conscious and they lead people.

• They believe in themselves.

• They are a really good communicators and they have the ability to build a positive relationship

with people.

• They are really good at a specific tasks and they keep improving on it.

If winners had to be winners, he had to build skills at three levels,

• the internal,

• the intra-personal and

• the external.

For example, knowing what he is capable of is a skill that is built internally. Ability to persuade and achieve

is an intrapersonal skill and the last, the skillset of hunting is a niche skillset which is external.

At what levels we can work…

The story of a Human…

To be what we want to be, we can get trained in three levels, the Internal, Intra-Personal and External.

Internal: When a person is trained internally the effects are long lasting as all transformation happen from

within. Even a butterfly’s transformation comes from within. A training that is internal helps a person better

understand about himself.

Inter-Personal: Interpersonal skills are the life skills that we use every day to communicate and interact with

other people, both individually and in groups. People who have worked on developing strong

interpersonal skills are usually more successful in both their professional and personal lives.

External: External skills are required to accomplish a single task. For example, cracking an interview to

detecting lies using body language are niche skills which can be imparted through trainings. Most of the

time, these skills are temporary as they happen at an external level.

The Slipstream! A bird flies in the front showing

directions to the skein and

thereby making it easier for the

flock that follows by reducing the

turbulence of the journey. And
