• Catchy and enticing

• They subtly refer to the main theme/s of the film and plot

• Many are quite short or using numerous short sentences for effect.

• They are sometimes used to bring a catchphrase into popular use and within thrillers are usually a play on the narrative, etc. I which makes complete sense after the audience has seen the film.
