Step FourNow that the stain is ready. Use either a brush or a clean cloth to apply. Use a brush if you wish to make it darker, and use a cloth if you want to apply the stain lighter. After you have stained all parts of the floor proceed on to the final step.


Step FiveThe next and final step is to seal the stained floor. Use a standard size roller in applying the sealant on the floor. When applying, follow the direction of the wood grains so that it will look beautiful. Apply a thin layer of sealant but make sure it is evenly thin on all areas of the floor. Again, see to it that you won’t miss a spot. Move your furniture back in place when you’re sure enough that the floor is completely dry.


You have to be careful in putting back the stuff in place. See to it that you will not drag them when moving. There’s a good chance that you will scratch the newly finished floor. Ask someone to help you lift the furniture and appliances back in place.
