Frequency of Publication and PriceFrequency of Publication: Weekly I was going to do it as a monthly

magazine however, after the audience research, I found more people prefer weekly magazines.

Price: £3.50 This was the price in my initial ideas and

from my research, I found that the preferred price of the magazine would be between £3 and £5.

Distribution

I have decided to let my magazine be sold in newsagents, supermarkets, local gigs and music shops such as Dawson’s, Anderton’s and HMV.

Also, you could order the magazine online and sign up for a subscription for the magazine.

Rationale and Style

My magazine will be made from an ‘apprentice’ outlook. This means all the interviews and articles are written by junior journalists who want to eventually want to go into writing articles and interviews for a big mainstream magazine such as RockSound or Kerrang! magazine.

I’m hoping for it to be in a quite informal style with thoughts, feelings and perspectives from a ‘fan girl’ point of view which I think is a new way of looking when it comes to interviews with bands that affect peoples lives in such a humongously great way. There will be simple yet effective language so practically everyone can understand the articles. I would prefer the layout to be mainly image based but there has to be a lot of text in the articles to keep people interested.

Colour Scheme

Colour Scheme: Red, Black and Grey I used this question in the questionnaire

and got a response of the most favoured colours are Red, Black and Blue but I don’t think blue would go with the colours so I changed it to Grey which I think would look more effective and ‘Alterative Rock’-esque.
