Simply plagiarism means duplicating content. Duplicate content, or plagiarized content, occurs when:-
Content is unabashedly copy-pasted from one website to another
A portion of the content is retained while changing the rest; for example, two sentences from the content could be kept unchanged, even though the rest of the article is rewritten
A similar structure of content is maintained, though some words are changed here and there
