Step 1: Open up an internet browser and go to www.expressupdateusa.com

Step 2: On the right hand side there are two blue boxes, the second one says "Check Your Listing." You can search by two different ways, by Company Name or Phone Number. The default is set at Company Name so go ahead and enter in your company name, select the state that you are located in, and then click on the green Search button.

Step 3: If your business is relatively new, as is Blue Widget Co, there will be no results. If, however, your business information does show up on screen click on the "View Full Listing" link to see the entire listing. Chances are that there is information missing on the full listing, your next step would be to click on the Edit link to update the information correctly before verifying. If there are no results for you business, click on the Add New Business Listing button on the lower right hand portion of the screen.

Step 4: You will now be prompted to sign into an existing account, or create a new one. Click on the Create Account button on the right hand side of the page.

Step 5: Enter in all of the appropriate information to create an account on Express Update. When finished, check the box that says you agree to the terms and conditions and click on the Create Account button.

Step 6: In order to complete the process, you will have to verify your email address. Click on the activation link inside of the email to verify the email you provided was correct.

Step 7: Your account has been activated, to continue, Sign in.

Step 8: This is your account dashboard, to add a new listing, click on the Add New Listing link on the upper right hand portion of the page.

Step 9a: Enter the information in the appropriate fields for Business Information. It is important to note that if your company has a Suite number then just simply add the number in this field. Do not add Suite or # into the field, if you do you will have to delete that information before continuing. Under web address DO NOT include http:// or www. You will not be able to continue if either of these are on your web address line. The custom fields above categories are important, if you have relevant information to add to any of them, then add them.

Step 9b: Categories: Add as many RELEVANT categories to your listing as you can (up to 5), starting with the most important category first. You can drag and drop categories in matter of importance.Products: Separated by commas, add in your products. If you only provide services, leave this field blank.Services: Separated by commas, add in each of your services. If you only sell products, leave this field blank.Keywords: Separated by commas, enter in the keywords that are relevant to your product and/or services.Employee Size: Enter how many employees the company hasAdditional Information: If there is any additional information that you would like to include in your listing, add it here.

Step 9c: Web Links:Logo: Add a link to your logo. If you do not know what the link is, then skip.Coupon: If the company has a coupons page on the website, add that link here.Twitter: Add the Twitter URL to the company's page hereFacebook: Add the Facebook URL to the company's page hereYouTube: If created, add the YouTube channel URL hereLinkedIn: Add the company LinkedIn page URL here, if createdOther Social Media: Pinterest, Instagram, etc

If you have not created social profiles on some of these, it is ok, you can always come back and add them later.

Step 9d: Hours/Payment Types:Hours of operation: Enter in your hours of operation.Payment Types: Add the payment types that the company accepts.

Step 9e: Contact Information & Other Information:Add your contact information in the appropriate fieldsOther Information: Go through this carefully, if there is information that you can add in any of these then add them. When finished, click on the Submit Listing button in the lower right hand portion of the screen.

Step 10: You have just submitted your business information to Express Update, to check on the status of your listing, click on the Go to My Listings link.

Step 11: From the dashboard you can see what date your listing is estimated to be added to the Express Update database. From your dashboard, you can easily edit any of the information or add any information that you were unable to add on the initial submission.
