The Six Step Guide to Listing Your Business on Google Maps
Step 1: Login into Google Local Business Center
http://google.com/localbusinesscenter
Step 2: Select “Add a new listing”
Step 3: Enter your business information.
Step 4: Add additional business details.
• Hours of operation
• Payment options
• Photos
• Videos
• Additional details (i.e. parking, brands, etc)
Step 5: Validate Your Listing
• Validate your listing via phone or postcard.
• Select Finish & expect a phone call within seconds.
Step 6: Enter the verification pin.
• Enter you five digit verification pin.
• If you didn’t write or type it fast enough, simply press Request verification and Google will call you again.
That’s it. But, there’s more available.
• Click on “Coupons” to create coupons for your business.– Coupons will show up on
your business listing
– Show them on Mobile phones too
– Add images to coupons
– Create expiration dates so you don’t have to worry about managing them
– Select different locations where coupons are valid.
