PROCEDURE After downloading extract the file using winrar if you don't have winrar kindly download it here http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm and choose what fits on your system

how to extract the file using winrar

double click the file CMTitan_JB_v18_Stock_Rom.rar

and then click the extract to and choose your directory ex. Desktop

once extracted you need to extract it again because this is compress using multiple zip, just click any of the parts and do the same process of extracting

you should have this kind of files after inside the extracted folder

next is open the SP flash tool that you have downloaded awhile ago, if you're running on windows xp just double click it but if you're running windows 7 onwards run it as an administrator

before we proceed we need to install the driver first of the MTK VCOM DRIVER that you have downloaded also awhile ago

just click the InstallDriver.exe

be sure to check the device manager that it has been detected as an Android Driver when you plug your Titan w500

and now turn of your phone and remove the battery and usb cable on your phone and open the sp flash tool

now be sure to load the MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt that is inside the CMTitan_JB_v18_Stock_Rom and you must have something like this (see image flash)

so be sure it is all check and it loads all the files and then press the download button and instantly plug in your batter y and usb cable.

and you will see it will load the the YELLOW BAR and then the once done it will have the GREEN ICON

after that just reboot your phone and there you go you are now upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 v18

TROUBLESHOOTING

if the loading did not start click the stop button and then repeat the process again and be sure to check if you have installed the driver properly or else it will not continue on reading your device
