How-To: Export view categories to PDF

Step 1. Open your Notes application and the categorized view you wish

to export and hit the PDF Converter toolbar icon.

Step 2. Select Individual categories and hit the Select categories action.

Step 3. Select the categories that will be exported and hit OK.

Step 4. Select the Single PDF file with a bookmarks view menu and

hit the Create PDF button to start your view categories export.Note: Check the Include child document (responses) check-box if you wish to include the response documents with your export.

Otherwise only the first-level documents will be exported.

Step 5. Once the export is complete, hit the provided PDF icon in order to open

the created PDF file. Alternatively, use the other provided actions

in order to save the file, send by e-mail or copy to clipboard.

The above image shows the created PDF file. The Bookmarks view in the PDF file (shown

on the left) displays the original categories and their associated documents. Clicking on any

document link in the bookmarks view will display the document in the main frame (on the right).

Note: If you prefer to export your view categories to hard disk folders, then in Step 4, select

Separate PDF files in a folder structure and choose where the folders will be saved and

how the PDFs will be named (see above image). Once set, hit the Create PDF button.

Once completed, the view categories will appear as folders on your

hard disk and each folder will contain the associated PDF files.

What we have done: We selected Notes view categories and exported

them to a Single PDF file with a bookmarks view. We selected Notes view categories and exported

them directly to hard disk, with automatic creation of folders for each category.
