Unfortunately most people are not fully utilizing it to its fullest potential,

and I am referring to people who are sane without any mental conditions.

First and foremost, if you want to

know how to improve brain power,

you need to ensure that you know

how to take care of your own body.

Do you get enough rest every

night? Sleep is really important and

if you want your mind to function at

its optimum level, do ensure that

you give your body sufficient rest. I

suggest that you give your body at least 8 hours of sleep every night. If

your body is feeling tired physically and mentally, stop whatever you are

doing and take a break. Be sure to listen to your body when it shows you

signs of fatigue.

Moving on to another aspect of taking care of your body, I suggest that

you feed yourself with brain food too. Those can really crank your mind

up. One example of such a food is oily fish, like salmon. Basically, you

want to eat the fat that is on the salmon. That contains essential fatty

acids which is really good for the mind. It is also good for other stuff in

your body so do eat it. Besides that, you can also eat lots of blueberries.

Research has shown that binging on blueberries can reduce short term

memory loss. You can also eat tomatoes. These also help prevent

dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

I am bringing this discussion on how to improve brain power to a close.

Lastly, I would like to point out that you can also exercise your mind by

doing challenging games and puzzles. These will test your cognitive

thinking abilities and you may certainly be spending some time trying to

solve them if they are really challenging. Now you need not pick the really

challenging stuff all the time. You can go for something easier such as

crossword puzzles or jigsaw puzzles. Those help too.
