Graphics in PowerPoint 2003
Prepared by Prof Pat
For WS445 – Feb. 24, 2010
Just the basics for preparing graphics & call-out annotationsfor the March 3 assignment
Key Point: When using Call-outs, you must insert a Textbox over the Call-out in order to type your words (unlike Word where can type directly into a Callout).
How to Use this Slide Show
• Slide #3 illustrates a final product. Read the notes section below the slide to learn how this slide created
• Slide #4 is a screen shot of the basic working window in PP 2003, with major parts identified (so you can understand the Notes section in Slide #3)
• Slide #5 has details of the Drawing Toolbar.
• Slide #6 – Create your own Graphics
Download the slide show so you can run it on your computer. Don’t run as a full screen slide show – run it the way you would if you were editing or creating new slides. That way you can read the Notes section below each slide.
Graphics with Call-Out: Sample
Is this a FEMINIST symbol? Does it objectify women and promote body image problems?
Note: You can explain what you did, sources of graphics and quotes, etc. by using the Notes Section below the slide.
