Sunday roastSunday roast • It is a traditional British main meal, served on Sundays.
• Consisting of: Roast Beef, they are also popular (pork, lamb, chicken)
the meat is roasted in the oven. Boiled or roasted vegetables like turnip, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, green beans… Gravy sauce is made from the juices that run from meat and vegetables during cooking.
Yorkshire pudding is a simple mixture made from milk, flour, eggs, water; poured into oiled muffin -tins, cooked in the oven. At the end it has a round shape.

Fish and chipsFish and chips• It is a popular take-away food . It consists of fish (cod, sole ,hake) which is
battered (flour, egg) and then deep fried , served with chips (French fries ) and sometimes with tartar sauce , tomato sauce , vinegar , salt .
Steak and kidney pieSteak and kidney pie• It is a pie filled with a mixture of diced beef ,
kidney (veal , lamb ) , fried onion , green pepper and braw gravy.
A pie is a baked pastry filled with different contents .
Apple pieApple pie • It is a fruit pie , the main filling ingredient is
apple ; with sugar , brandy . It is a baked dish . It could be not served .
