1930s- Undergarments (women)

In case you have to change on stage, you’ll have to be in 1930s undergarments. They’re more covered than undergarments today, they’re more like silky, lace slips. These are some examples:

1930s Undergarments (men)

Again, for in case you have to change on stage, you’ll be in 1930s undergarments. They kind of look like baby onesies, but more like tighty-whities with a white tank top. This is part of your costume. Sorry. Here’s some examples, good luck:

LouiseLouise is very put together at the beginning, and then as the show goes on, she’s more disheveled. Here’s our sketch:

Phil: beginningIn the beginning, Phil comes on in farm clothes. We interpreted that as worn out and slightly dirty. This is what it would be like:

Phil: directorWhen Phil is the director, he’s much more put together and professional.

BennyThere aren’t a lot of scenes where Benny is in 1930s clothes, but he’s still in at least one. This is what it would look like:

Mr. DewittMr. Dewitt is a fool. He’s insane, pretty mad. So his costume is cray. So this is what he might look like:

JackJack’s costume is more professional than a stagehand but less than Phil as the director. He’ll probably end up rolling up his pants or something.

ShelShel’s costume is nicer than the other stage hands, but not as nice as Louise. She would be 1930s overalls like this:
