The HSHS system utilizes our patent-pending ThermoCELL technology along with our

ultra-e±cient inline heater.

How does the ThermoCELL work?

ThermoCELL (TC) technology incorporates the basic laws of thermodynam-

ics. The TC is designed with 10 internal “teeth-like” projections mounted on

the pressure side of the pump. When the pump is on high speed this rapid movement

of water through the TC generates considerable kinetic energy (friction). This fric-

tional energy transfer results in the water gaining heat without the use of any ad-

ditional fuel source. An example of kinetic energy is rapidly rubbing your hands

together on a cold day. Friction results in your hands generating heat. TC uses the

same principals, only more e±ciently and at a much higher rate of speed.

Rotational Molding

Rotational molding, also known as “roto-mold”, is a

highly advanced manufacturing technique used to

create our spas. The process begins with a hollow,

two-part mold, which is filled with granular polyeth-

ylene polymer (advanced high-impact resistant

powder plastic). The mold is then mounted to a so-

phisticated machine, which externally heats while

biaxially rotating the mold. The heat softens the

powder into liquid form. As the mold rotates, the

“melted material” coats the inside of the mold.

Intelligent software distributes the

material evenly to ensure consis-

tency of product. Once cooled, the

two-part mold is opened, revealing a single piece uni-body

constructed spa. The benefit of this manufacturing

process is that our spas contain NO wood, metal or vinyl,

which means they will never fade, rot, rust or tear. Also,

they have the ability to withstand impact... quite liter-

ally an indestructible cabinet. A Durasport®
