OBJECTIVE

•Locate active subscribers in assigned area and re-align or relocate their satellite dish to Koreasat 5.

•Accomplish migration of subscribers to new satellite within 3-months.

REASON FOR MIGRATION

•Agila II has approximately 2 years left in the orbit.

•Koreasat 5 was launched last August 2006 and has a lifespan of 15 years (until 2021) in the orbit.

7. Under “channel search menu”, select “manual” by pressing “green button” on the remote control.

8. Select “Add TP” by pressing the “blue button” on the remote control.

9. Select row of added TP (with check) and go to “freq” column, press “ok” to edit frequency.

10.Enter new frequency “12390” and press “ok”.

11.Go to “S/R” column, press “ok” to edit symbol rate. Enter symbol rate “25600” and press “ok”.

12.Go to “pol” column, press “ok” to edit polarity to “v” (vertical).

13.Repeat steps 8-12 but enter the frequency “12430” in step 10.

14.Repeat steps 8-12 but enter the frequency “12470” in step 10.

15.Press “exit” on remote. Select “network” by pressing “yellow button” on the remote control.

16.Unit will perform “channel scan”, after completion press “exit”.

14.Press “ok” and a display will show “do you want to save changes?”, select “yes” and press “ok”.

8. To “add new” satellite, press “red button” on the remote control.

10.Press “exit” button. Under “installation window, select “TP edit/scan” and press “ok” button.

12.Select “scan” and press “ok” (Do not press “exit” while scanning is in progress).

9. Press “ok” to search channels. The message “Searching in process, please wait” will appear. After search is completed, press “ok” to finish.

10.To add another frequency, repeat steps 8-9 but enter the frequency “12430000” in step 8 under “TP2”.
