Before you can use these buttons in your email signature (or any other place), you have to save the button as a picture, this is luckily very easy to do.

HOW TO USE THE DONATE BUTTON

Step 1: For each button, click on every element associated with it (hold shift down), as in this screenshot:

Step 2: With each component still selected, right click, and click “Save as Picture…”

Step 3: Go to where you normal edit your email signature, and then hyperlink the image to your fundraising page. Save your email signature, and now you have a donate button in your signature!

Step 4: Don’t forget to send an email to all your friends and family with an encouragement to support your fundraiser with a donation.

NOTE: These next three slides are about creating a specific color in your donate button so to match the color of your website, logo or blog.

You can customize colors by finding the HEX code of the main colors of your website, logo or blog and adding the desired color to the buttons.

A HEX code is a 6-character code that represents a color. To find the HEX code you need take a screenshot of your website, logo, blog etc. and then head over to http://www.imagecolorpicker.com/.  

Here you upload the screenshot by clicking the “Upload your image” button. Then select any point of the uploaded screenshot, and immediately see the corresponding HEX code on the right. Easy!

When you have found your HEX code appears, you need to transfer that information to PowerPoint.

Go to Themes Colors Create New Theme Colors. From there you’ll be taken to a screen, where you can change the colors in your color palate to match you’re your website, logo or blog.

Now, click any “Accent” option, and within the dropdown options select “More Colors…”

From there, go to the “Custom” or “Color sliders” tab. You’ll see the option to input a number for “Red,” “Green,” and “Blue.” These are your RGB colors that appear in the HEX code generated on imagecolorpicker.com.

Just add those generated numbers here. Keep going down the accents until you have all the colors you need.

Double clicking on any image, textbox, or shape will open up various options for you to change the appearance of the respective object.

The possibilities are endless, you can edit – the shading, colors, fills, rotations, 3D effects, outline, or styles.
