What is WCG
Researches (black) fall short of computing resources most of the time. Most of the time our (purple) computers remain idle. This is because of being disconnected.
Our computers can now contribute to researches. WCG servers provide common ground.And the effort is to create the world's largest non-profit public computing grid to work on scientific research projects.

How to Join?

Windows). Client application is available for other platforms also.
• Install and provide internet connectivity to client.

Concerns
• Inputs – processor, network, memory, disk. All are configurable.
• Electric impact equivalent to a low wattage light bulb, generally.
• Management – No need to heed. The client itself downloads tasks and uploads results.
• Security - The downloads are digitally signed. Communication is done using SSL encryption.
• WCG apps run at lowest priority, so no other process remains in wait state due to them.
