TIME DILATION

In Special relativity, clocks that are moving run slower, according to a stationary observer's clock.

In General relativity, clocks that are near to a strong gravitational field (such as a planet) run slower.

One of the simple aspects of Einstein's theory of special relativity is that the length of objects moving at a very high velocity undergoes a contraction along the dimension of motion.
