Sun, wind and winter
Once one peasant was travelling and passed through the cross. He saw three men sitting under the cross: one was very red, second- very white and the third one with very strange big lips.
When he saw them he was very afraid, so he took off the hat to honor them and soon went away. When He turned back, he saw that those three people were catching him up.
When they caught him up, they asked:
-Who did you want to honor, when you took off your hat?
The peasant was very afraid of man with big lips, so he said:
- For that one with big lips.
Then the Red one said for him:
- Well, you Know, man, when the summer comes, I‘ll burn you – I am the sun!
• Man with big lips answered:
• - Do not worry, man, I am the wind: You do not need to be afraid- I will blow a cold wind a save you from the heat.
• Then the white one said for him:
• - I will revenge too. I am winter, I‘ll freeze you!
• - Do not worry, - said the man with big lips for a peasant - I will start to blow warm wind and snow starts melting. You are lucky, peasant, because you took off the hat to honor me.
• And a happy peasant continued his travel..
