DESCRIPTION

Solar Power is the need of the time as we know that coal is limited and soon will come to an end. So we need an alternative source of energy to fulfill our needs and solar energy is the best one as it is renewable and clean energy. Also it is less risky to implement and any one can use this either on large scale or for residential purposes. There are many benefits of Solar energy and some are described in this slide show.

With a population of 1.2 billion, 400 million people is still without power so India naturally needs a lot of power to meet its day-to- day needs.

Page 3: Solar power the future

As per some researchers Coal reserves will be depleted by 2050

Also Coal mining, is incredibly risky, because it poses serious risks.

The best way obviously, would be to start thinking about alternative sources of energy apart from coal.

As we know, coal is not renewable so easily, and is depleting as we speak.

Solar Energy is the Best source of alternate energy as:

•It is renewable•Clean energy•No risk in implementing•Low maintenance cost•Good for our environment

Also solar energy is the only long-term sustainable remedy and answer to global warming issues.

o According to officials, India is blessed when it comes to solar energy; we have the capacity to generate a trillion megawatts of solar energy in a year.

o Solar panels, have a long life, and if looked after, minimally of course, can last up to twenty years.

o However, installation might be a tad bit expensive, but you will cover that cost up in a matter of two to three years, because per unit generating electricity is much cheaper than other forms.

o Even a desert can be covered with solar panels, and enough electricity can be generated to power a city.

Invest In The Future. Invest In The Environment
