THE IMPORTANCE OF EATING NUTRITIOUS FOOD1. Weight ControlA diet that is full of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins

and whole grains can help you lose, maintain or control your weight.

2. Blood Sugar ControlSugary foods cause spikes in your blood sugar. If you

consume too many sugary foods like white breads and concentrated fruit juices, over time you can develop Type 2 diabetes.

3. Heart HealthHigh-fat foods cause high cholesterol and a buildup

of plaque in your arteries. It’s a known fact that this can lead to stroke, heart attack or heart disease. Eat healthy fats, like those found in nuts and avocados, to get the fat you need without the plaque buildup.

4. Deceased Cancer RiskFruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants that

help neutralize the damaging cells known as free radicals. Free radicals are highly unstable and can lead to cancerous cells.

Justifying the distribution of food to the unfortunate group

-Thank God we were born and raised in Malaysia. Malaysia is a country of peace and development. The well-being of our country not only gives people the opportunity to learn and work but can prevent us from starving. Every day we receive nutritious foods and live a healthy lifestyle.

-However, not everyone is lucky like us. Congo, Liberia, Burundi is thepoorest of the three countries in the world.

-Prices of food at there are very expensive, resulting in lower income groups cannot afford to buy nutritious food. They lack protein sources such as meat, poultry and fish. In effect, many people face malnutrition and deficiency diseases. Therefore, it makes sense for us to distribute food to the less fortunate there.

In our country, there may also be some among the very poor that cannot afford to buy nutritious food. For example, people who live in the amount they beg from the public ,they are not only homeless but no money to buy nutritious food.

Eating manners that meet with sensivity and religious beliefsOur country is a country with a multi-racial

citizens . Every community in our country have different nutritional manners . Each religion has a different type of dietary sensivity. For people like us who live in harmony, we should respect the religion’s cultures to create a prosperous nation. Here are some practices of eating.

MUSLIM- Malay people like to eat with the family or friends .

In the past , most of the Muslims sit on the floor . This is considered as an orderly manner . The Muslims eat using their hands.

CHINESE - Chinese people usually eat with chopsticks . It is a tradition for them to drink soup before eating rice . - Elderly people starts eating before the younger ones. - It is impolite to lick the tip of the chopstick.

INDIANS - Indian people usually eat on their hands . - It is important to know that a younger one should not walk out from the table before all the elderly ones complete eating.

WESTERN - They usually eat with fork and spoons. - Most people nowadays , eat western food because it is more polite and formal.
