agriculture in production of beef, sheep, poultry and swine. Gained knowledge in implementation of stacked model enterprises, maximizing solar collection, grass fed finishing

strategies, as well at the financial aspects of transition from crop production to grazing operations.

American Dairy Science-American Society of Animal Science Joint Annual Meeting-Attendant Summer 2015 Attended research presentations, lectures, and symposiums relevant to the dairy industry. Learned about forage production, immunology, genetics, reproduction and dairy management presented by research

scientists and dairy industry leaders.

Gained knowledge in utilizing effective communication strategies to find common ground with consumers and

United States Pony Club (USPC) - HB Level Graduate 1996 to 2011 Active member of youth equestrian organization focused on education, leadership, horse management and

sportsmanship. Gained upper level national rating based upon; teaching skills, training technique, veterinary knowledge, horse

management as well as riding ability. Taught younger members, and helped run club meetings, competitions, ratings and fundraisers. Competed and represented the great lakes region in national championships in 2004, 2005, and 2007.
