Airbus starts a venture capital fund and an innovation centre in Silicon Valley. The initial investments in the venture capital division will be $ 150 million. In 2061, millions of people will have some experience of being in space, but thousands of them will live there. They will build constantly operating lunar bases, and man will finally set foot on Mars, according to the forecast of Space.com. NASA has plans to land a man on the asteroids flying close to the Earth by 2025 and on Mars in 2030. Implementation of such an expedition before 2061 is quite real. Closer asteroids, a repeat visit to the moon and exploration of Phobos are considered as intermediate steps. The space elevator will make space accessible to all. The first space elevator will appear by mid-century, and will be much cheaper than conventional methods of access to the space.
