METALSIt is an element, compound or an alloy .A substance with high electrical conductivity, luster, malleability, which readily loses electrons to form positive ions. Metals are otherwise defined according to their position on the Periodic Table, including groupings as alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, transition metals, and rare earth metals.

IMPACT OF METALSMetals Are VitalMetals are vital to human life... -Without metals, the objects we depend on every day, including the computer we are using simply could not exist!-Metals are infinitely recyclable, with no loss of properties!

-The non-ferrous metals industry actually contributes to climate protection!-Metals play a key role in medicine: combating cancer, diabetes, strokes, etc.-Around 80% of the earth's elements are metals! We cant Imagine a world without metals !!!

Metals are the oldest toxin known to man. They are present in the rocks and ores. Rain

water dissolves them and distributes them in the environment. We get exposed to them

because we use them for various purposes.

Health effects due to exposure to metals could range from skin lesions to cancer. Metals can

be classified into four different groups.

How Metals Become Toxic?

AND THEY CAN BE VERY HARMFUL TO US,BUT WE CANT EVEN

IMAGINE OUR LIFE WITHOUT THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE MUCH
