Warm - Up
The teacher checks students’
knowledge about stars and nebula by
asking some questions and attract their
attentions.
Presentation The teacher asks some questions like this.
T: At the weekend, I read an interesting article about stars and I wonder “Do you like stars?” Ss: Yes
T: What do you know about them?
For example, what happened to them
when they become old ?
Ss:…………….
( Teacher takes some predictions from students like that and writes on the board.)
T: Can they be injured?
Ss: Yes
Ss: No
( Teacher writes them on the board)
T: Can they disappear?
Ss: Yes
After these questions, teacher
opens PPT about answers of them.
Their answers hide on the topic Nebula
After the presentation, there are
drama activities about Nebula
At this activity, some of the students will be stars, some will be planets and others will be outer space. Firstly, six of the stars will come, they are little stars. Little stars sit then they stand up slowly for showing their growth and they seem like old and tired.
For showing this spreading, they
use spray paint. They paint the outer
space blocks that their friends hold on.
After painting this blocks, these
students hold on the blacks on their
heads and make colorful nebula.
And sometimes new little stars born from nebula, so one of the stars go center of the nebula and when the nebula spread, that star grows.
Teacher Instructions
For This Activity • I need 6 students for outer space.
• Others, some of you will be stars and others are planets (teacher gives pictures of stars and planets to the students
• Now, I need 6 stars.
• After these 6 stars come, the teacher tell them ‘ you are so tired and old stars’ ( Teacher gives spray paints to them) you spread a gas on outer space. ( They paint outer space cartoons.)
