BRIEF: The Chemistry Group specialises in helping enterprise level companies assess their prospective employees to make sure they are hiring the right people for the right role. They also help companies assess existing employees with the aim of developing and re-energising them. Working with clients such as SAP, Vodafone and Sky, Chemistry's innovative methodology helps drive growth by identifying the critical behaviours and characteristics in employees which will directly enable the business. With many of their clients receiving thousands of applications in each round of recruitment, Chemistry wanted to develop an online platform to help them accurately assess both new candidates and existing employees’ suitability for the role. The goal was to automate the process without compromising on the quality of a one-to-one assessment. This platform is Crucible. CRUCIBLE: CASE STUDY “Automating the candidate assessment process for enterprise level companies” CHALLENGE: The platform needed to provide an extremely high level of configurability, allowing clients to create bespoke assessments depending on the job role they were hiring for, whilst remaining user friendly and accessible. Following go live,the continued challenge would then be to maintain a high standard of performance and availability under heavy volumes of global traffic and usage.

THE SOLUTION:

Once completed, Crucible allowed Chemistry to create and deliver customised assessments for each role within their client’s organisation, helping them to understand which candidates are suitable for the job.

Assessments can be taken online from anywhere in the world, delivering real time results straight back to the client.

The platform is also integrated with a number for Applicant Tracking Systems (APS) – providing a seamless experience for the client throughout the whole process.

Crucible users have access to in depth analytics,pro-viding insight to the whole process and help compa-nies become more e�cient in their future recruit-ment and team development.

RESULT:

Crucible currently serves hundreds of assessments per a day; operating seamlessly in 5 di�erent languages, internationally across many countries and regions.

Having delivered over 70,000 assessments and counting, Crucible has allowed Chemistry to scale their operations enormously owing to the ease of service delivery and quality of product provided by Webonise.
