NONRENEWABLE AND
RENEWABLERESOURCES
HMMMM....What do you think
nonrenewable resources are?
Break it down...
Nonrenewable?
Resource?
NONRENEWABLE RESOURCES
A nonrenewable resource is a natural resource that cannot be re-made or
re-grown in a short time.

HOW ARE OIL AND GAS MADE ???
WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COAL AND OIL/GAS?
HMMMM....
If nonrenewable resources are resources
that cannot be re-made, what are
renewable resources?
RENEWABLE RESOURCES

● Solar energy
● Wind
● Moving Water

Energy from the sun.
Why is energy from the sun renewable?
Some cars can move by the solar energy.
Sun is the main source of energy on earth
WIND Energy from the wind.
Why is energy from the wind
renewable?
The energy of the wind is used to
produce electricity using wind turbines
WATER
Energy from the flow of water.
Why is energy of flowing water
renewable?The energy of the
moving water "water falls" is used to turn the
turbines & produce electricity.
SUMMARY

between nonrenewable and
renewable resources?
