Will e-Commerce completely replace brick and mortar retail stores?

I don’t think so… because…

.. We still live in the physical world

So then…

Why do I shop online? And why do I visit stores?

Its convenient! shop anywhere @ anytime

I can make better buying decisionsproduct details, reviews & comparisons

I save moneybest price from across websites

and more….

I want to see the physical producttouch & feel

I may talk to someone about the productsomeone flesh & blood

I just like visiting the storethe whole experience of shopping

and more…

Why can’t I get the best of both worlds?

Wait a minuteDon’t brick and mortar retailers have online

shopping websites?

Hmm… but that doesn’t seem to be helping, because…

…It feels like I’m still dealing with 2 different worlds!

What I buy online, I can’t touch & feel before buying

When I buy in store, I’m not sure if I am buying the right product at

the right price

What would be cool is if I can,

get product details & reviewscompare productssearch for best priceadd to wish list for later purchase

& do much more…

.. while I am in the store by simply…

…scanning the barcode of the product on shelf

Valuable information at my fingertips while I

shop in the store

Thank god! I don’t have to run around the store searching for a price-scanner

Let me compare with other products

Maybe I can save for later

Who knows, I may buy more!

I couldn’t be more confident knowing that I’m saving money right here at the store

I, the customer, suddenly feel even more empowered!!

..having found the convenience of online buying while seeing and touching the product

in the real world

All this makes me feel that I may decide to buy the product sooner…

…right there when I’m in the store rather than wait to buy later from the internet

Now, that to me is true omni-channel experience!!
