1980 Rob Simon started his first retail bedding store in Melbourne

1983 The success of the initial store led to rapid expansion and opening of another 14 stores in Victoria

1986 The first bedding manufacturing commenced with a focus on Futons, soon becoming the largest Futon manufacturer in Australia

1993 Manufacturing also kept growing with Rob Simon opening a large, state of the art factory in Victoria

1998 Regal Sleep Solutions factory opens in Victoria

Rob Simon meets Dr Michael Haworth and combines his Australian mattress expertise with Dr Haworth’s science to develop a sleep system, a first in world bedding manufacturing

2012 Healthy Life Professional and Healthy Life Mattresses quickly become the number one Health Professional Mattress brand in Australia

OUR STORY

Dr Michael Haworth graduated from Palmer Chiropractic University in 1994 and opened one Seattle’s largest chiropractic clinics. Dr Haworth was very heavily involved in sleep and mattress referrals in the United States.

In 2003 Dr Haworth and his wife Dr Navine Haworth moved to Melbourne, Australia where their services and expertise were keenly sought after.

In 2010 Dr Haworth met with Rob Simon and conceived to develop the best possible spring mattress for the absolute ultimate in skeletal support for the body.

The Healthy Life Mattress was created after enormous amounts of research and development.

All Healthy Life Professional mattresses are handmade in the Regal mattress factory in Melbourne. All machinery in the Regal factory is constantly replaced with the latest innovations in mattress manufacturing technology.

The components used, where possible are Australian made and are of the highest quality available. All of the comfort layers are treated for anti-allergy, are eco-friendly, fire retardant and totally odourless.
