Learning Points History • Created in 2005 to reward employees for
attending internal workshops and external work-related workshops and conferences. – 1 point per hour for internal training; ½ point per hour
for external training – Tracked through Human Resources – Employees reaching a Learning Points level were
recognized on the intranet and at the annual All-Employee Meeting
– Rewards were given for all employees reaching a Learning Points level

– Replaced paper-based record keeping, and added 400+ hours of independent training from Skillsoft catalog
– Branded as “The University” to further highlight the importance of continuing education for all Fallon employees

University” brand – More traffic to The University for HR
functions, more users become comfortable with the site
– Additional required actions can now be tracked, reported, and rewarded

University Points – Activities • Training: 1 University Point per
minute for internal training; ½ University Point per minute for external training
• 200 University Points for delivering/designing training (once annually)
• Additional University Points available for completing required training when released
• Managers can petition for University Points for preceptors
• 250 University Points for signing Performance Evaluation on time
• 250 University Points for uploading/populating a resume
• 50 University Points per current certification recorded
• 50 University Points for uploading a picture
• Flexibility for additional University Points opportunities at any point during the year!
