Winter maintenance Checklist-

Inspect your exterior walls for paint blistering or peeling. Deteriorating paint is a sign of the paint is failing and left if left untreated.

Clean and inspect the gutters. Get all the fall leaves out of the gutters and downspouts and flush the gutters out with water, tighten the brackets if necessary.

Caulk and seal all windows to help keep the heat in.

Inspect the roof to ensure it is in good shape. Any missing or loose shingles replace or tighten down.

Have your wood stove and / or fireplace inspected to ensure it is in working order.

Inspect your driveway for all cracks and fill in any cracks and damage and coat the driveway with a commercial sealer.

Reverse the direction of the rotation of your ceiling fan to ensure an upward draft to draw air that gathers on the ceiling back down.

Clean your humidifiers to ensure they are bacteria and spore free.
