• Ask them what all is included in the selling price?
Inquire whether you have to pay extra for the
greenhouse, garden shed, fittings or fixtures.
• Demand the agent to justify the price asked for. A
good one will even inform you if the house is
overrated and the minimum price the seller would
accept.
• If the price is low because the seller is in a hurry to
shift outstation, you can negotiate it further.
• Ask how long all the
earlier owners have
lived there. If the
durations have been
short, the common
reason may be noisy
neighbours. Contact
them if desired.
•Demand to know how long the property has been
available in the market. If it has been more than 3
months for being over-priced, you can now negotiate
it.
•Inquire which side the property faces. A north or
south-east facing property is mostly desired by
buyers.
•Is the property listed? Or is it in the conservation
area? Either way, you have to face buying
restrictions.
•Does any room suffer from damp or crack? Is that the reason
they have recently been repainted?
•The absence of continuous
water service can make anyone
irritated. Ask your Estate
Agents in Highbury about the
drinking water availability there.
