Jindal Realty Private Limited (JRPL), incorporated in August 2005 is the real estate arm of the Jindal

Group.

The group has diversified into Real Estate Development by unveiling landmark residential project Sonepat

Global City (SGC), Sonepat, NCR, Haryana.

Jindal Realty announced an investment of Rs 1,800 crore in Haryana for developing four projects. The

company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana government to boost

investments in developing Sonepat and Kurukshetra as new destinations. The MoU was signed at the 'Happening

Haryana' summit held at Gurgaon on 7th-8th March,2016.

• Chinese Wanda Group has offered a mega city proposal to Haryana Govt. spread over 3500 acres which will

come up at Kharkhoda,18 kms from Sonepat Global City, on the Kundli Manesar Expressway.

• During the recently Concluded Haryana Summit, it has been confirmed that the China’s Wanda Group will invest

Rs. 60,000 crore in Haryana’s infrastructure over the next four years.

• Other Chinese firms such as TBEA(Chinese manufacturer of Power equipment) and Chinese Fortune

Land Development Co. , are also keen in investing in the region.

With the direct land purchase system at open market prices and

private industrial developers allowed to set up their own industrial

parks, the region is poised to attract big ticket investments.

SONEPAT CITY : NEW INITITATIVES BY HARYANA GOVERNMENT

New Integrated Housing Policy:

• Minimum land requirement reduced from 100 acres to 25 acres.

• Increased F.A.R and Density:

• 12% of area to be transferred free of cost to govt. for EWS and NPNL housing.

• 10% land to be given free of cost to govt. for community facilities. The FAR benefit shall be given to the

land owner for this component.

Affordable Housing gets a boost in the new policy . Dwelling units of 600 .00 sq. ft. Onwards
